80,000 km service due on my A3 – dealership quote gave me a heart attack

So my 2019 A3 just hit the 80,000 km mark and the dealership in Dubai quoted me what I can only describe as a small fortune for the major service interval – we're talking new spark plugs, transmission fluid flush, brake fluid, the whole nine yards. I nearly choked on my coffee when I saw the number on that estimate, and honestly, I'm starting to question whether it's really worth paying that premium when there have to be other competent workshops around that can do the exact same job for a fraction of the cost. I've been asking around in some of the local car groups and a few people mentioned that once your car is out of warranty, there's really no point sticking with the dealer unless you just like burning money for the sake of a fancy waiting room with free coffee. The thing is, I'm a bit particular about my car and I don't just want to hand it over to any random garage that might use cheap aftermarket parts or cut corners on the important stuff like the DSG service. I've been doing some research online and I keep seeing recommendations to look for an Expert Audi maintenance garage in Musaffah Industrial Area because apparently that's where a lot of the independent specialists are concentrated, and they actually use the proper OEM fluids and diagnostic equipment without the insane dealership markup. Has anyone here made the switch from dealer servicing to an independent shop around there, and if so, how was your experience in terms of quality and peace of mind? I'm totally fine paying a fair price for good work, I just don't want to feel like I'm getting ripped off every time I take the car in for routine stuff that any trained mechanic should be able to handle properly. Would really love to hear some real-world experiences before I make a decision.
