Best way to build English vocab for SSC exams?

English is the only section holding me back from getting a good rank. When I look at the previous year papers on sarkari result, I barely know half of the synonyms and antonyms. Should I memorize the Blackbook completely or is reading newspapers daily a better idea?

Honestly, don't waste hours on the newspaper if your only goal is clearing the exam, it takes way too long to build vocab that way. Memorizing the Blackbook is a much safer bet since SSC loves repeating previous year questions (PYQs). Just break it down into daily targets of 20–30 words, revise them constantly, and practice mock tests to see them in context. nullsbrawl

I would not try to memorize the whole Blackbook at once. Focus on PYQ vocabulary first, learn 20 to 30 words a day,Nulls Brawl ios and keep revising them. That seems much more practical for SSC than spending hours reading newspapers.
